About Us
Delsand LLC is a company founded by Del and Candy Saindon. After retiring the Saindons spent the first 7 years as Snowbirds before deciding to start Delsand LLC.
During their rookie initiation, before their first two-month trip, the need for satellite TV was discovered. Being on the road, with so many activities and places to see, stopping to watch TV on the network’s schedule was not possible. However, there was down time that was ideal for watching TV, just not when the prime time shows they enjoyed were on. So, satellite TV seemed to be the answer.
Because of the desire for DVR, Dish Network was their first choice. With Dish Network’s DVR, Candy would schedule the shows to be recorded and then later they would watch the shows on their own schedule.
However, their Dish Network required multi-satellites and Del soon found out that the setup could be very frustrating and varied from place to place.
Thus, they needed a better stand that was:
- easy to store,
- quick to assemble,
- allowed setup on any terrain (from level to being on the side of a hill),
- checked for a clear line of sight,
- found a strong signal within 5 minutes, and
- was stable in strong winds.
Before retiring from the computer world, Del was responsible for the technical support and product design of many products. His forte was problem solving. Now, he had a new problem area to address.
During the design of the new stand it was decided that it would be a USA product, with the Saindons overseeing every step of the process from the tooling, the production, the assembly to the boxing of the products. They have a strong desire of ensuring that any product with the Delsand LLC name on it is of the highest quality.
Delsand LLC is located in Lake Stevens, WA. The “PDQ Stand” molded in the Everett, WA area with assembly and shipping done in Stanwood, WA.
